A winery wedding in New Jersey’s wine country – romantic, unique, memorable. Although New Jersey claims one of the oldest continuously –operated wineries in the United States, opened in 1864, only in recent decades have vineyards and wineries begun to flourish in the Garden State. Today 33 wineries are in operation. Most are family operated; most are located in the state’s hilly northwestern region and its southern plain. Winery Wedding Guide searched through the 33 to find seven with the facilities and permits to host your special celebratory wedding day.
In addition, several New Jersey wineries, while not available for weddings, are able to host wedding-related events, such as receptions, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, family gatherings. Look for them following the Winery Wedding possibilities listed below:
Alba Vineyard
In picturesque Finesville,the Gallery's stone walls and oak beams provide an inviting setting for celebrations. In warmer months, the Grape Arbor and Patio are outside venues. Large groups can be accommodated spring into fall in the Vineyards; an open field among the vines offers views of rolling, wooded hills.

Four Sisters Winery at Matarazzo Farms
The Vintner's Room, a rustic barn with open beams dating back over 100 years, provides a cozy indoor setting for small gatherings.May through October, the winery captures the outdoors with the hosting of events under Tents that can accommodate groups large and small. A romantic ceremony site nestles between vineyards and pine trees.

Renault Winery
One of the nation’s oldest continuously operating wineries awaits your wedding day. Six venues are available for gatherings large or small, including the new Banquet Hall, the Classic Banquet Room, and the intimate Wine Cellar with vaulted ceilings and oaken casts.
