California – Winery Weddings 
Almost half of the nation’s some 7,000 wineries are in the golden state. For easy searching, click on the highlighted areas below to find those with the facilities and permits to host special private events.
California’s North Coast, stretches from the redwood forest-rimmed vineyards of Mendocino through Napa, Sonoma, and Lake Counties, to the San Francisco Bay Area.
Continuing south, the Santa Cruz Mountains region includes San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz counties. And finally, Monterey County.
The Central Coast meanders through San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties.
Next comes the Southern California area, with Riverside County’s Temecula Valley providing the bumper crop of winery-wedding venues surrounded by scattering of others in neighboring San Diego County.
Inland, vineyards abound in the 400 mile-long Central Valley Wineries, however, are far and few between, with most in San Joaquin and Madera Counties, with a few to be found near Sacramento.
